First Buddy Senior or Light

First Buddy Senior or Light is the perfect diet for older senior dogs, or dogs that need to reduce their weight. It is based on the latest research on energy requirements, metabolism, energy consumption and increased
weight in dogs. Increased protein content and reduced fat are beneficial for metabolism and energy – while at the same time the dog loose weight and feels more satisfied and full.

  • Protein 25% – (80% meat – 20% vegetables)
  • Fats 11%
  • Metabolic energy 3,865 kcal/kg

Less fat and a better feeling of being full

The gluten-free First Buddy Senior or Light diet contains only high quality ingredients which are also suitable for human consumption. Among other things, it contains duck, rabbit, chicken, oil from wild salmon, potato, peas, alfalfa and a number of herbs.

Improved mobility

First Buddy Senior or Light contains glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) to support normal wear and tear and regeneration of joint. It helps to keep the dog mobile – and therefore increases mobility in senior dogs.

First Buddy is for hypersensitive dogs

First Buddy Senior or Light contains duck and rabbit, and this means it can with advantage be given to dogs who show signs hypersensitivity.

Dried chicory root and dried brewer’s yeast (as sources of inulin FOS and MOS)* have a favourable effect on stomach and gut flora, and stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. Digestion is improved and the immune system is strengthened.

First Buddy with duck and rabbit is also added omega 3 from wild salmon, which gives a healthy dog with a shiny coat and normal shedding period. Wild salmon contains no artificial colour and thus will not colour your dog’s skin and fur.

*Inulin FOS: Fructo-oligosaccharides – carbohydrates which are beneficial to bifidobacteria in the colon.
*MOS: Mannan-oligosaccharides – which help to ensure a balanced bacterial flora in the intestines, and promote a healthy digestive system.
MOS counteract bacteria that cause disease in the gut, and effectively prevent diarrhoea and infectious digestion-related illnesses.
